Alta Signa, a European boutique Managing General Agent, has announced the opening of a new office in Bordeaux, following a regulatory breakthrough.
The office, first established in December 2020, was Intended to facilitate the offering of financial lines products such as Commercial Directors & Officers (D&O), Commercial Professional Indemnity, Cyber, Crime, and Financial Institutions.
In addition to its French office, Alta Signa has also launched in Belgium and set up branch offices in Spain and Italy over the last year.
“The French market is a key part of Alta Signa’s expansion strategy and the opening of our Bordeaux office will further strengthen our “close to source” underwriting approach – and clearly demonstrates the Group’s desire to differentiate itself and to stay close to our brokers,” said Jérôme Gillet, Branch Manager, France.

Concurrently, Alta Signa has welcomed Marc Dubreuil as Senior Financial Lines Underwriter.
Based in Brussels, Marc will be responsible for developing Alta Signa’s product offering in the French market as well as writing some Financial Lines business in Belgium.
He joins Marsh where he was a Financial Lines Manager based in Paris and was previously a Team Leader and D&O Chief Underwriting Officer with AXA.
“Marc’s knowledge of the French market will add extensive value to our clients as we combine local expertise and a suite of complementary specialised solutions to help them manage their evolving risks.,” added Gillet.
“He has over 10 years of senior and highly relevant Financial Lines underwriting experience in France and I know that we will benefit enormously from his extensive insights and expertise. I am delighted to welcome Marc to our growing team.”
