Lockton, an independent insurance broker, has announced the appointment of Andrew Wansey as Growth & Client Strategy Leader.
Wansey brings more than 30 years of experience in insurance and risk advisory, with deep expertise across property, construction and casualty placements, transactional risk, and alternative risk transfer solutions including captives and integrated risk programs.
The executive is joining Lockton from Bellrock, an insurance broker and risk management firm, where he served as Senior Advocate Placement and Market Strategy.
Prior to this, Wansey spent two years at Steadfast Group Limited, and close to three years at Gallagher before that.
His professional background further encompasses positions at Lumley General Insurance, Sedgwick Group, Jardine Lloyd Thompson Australia, and GSA Insurance Brokers, in addition to a notable 15-year tenure at Marsh.
