Marsh, an insurance broker, risk advisor, and business of Marsh McLennan, has appointed Andy Stirk as its US Chief Growth Officer, effective January 16.
Stirk, who has two decades of insurance industry experience, rejoins Marsh from Ascot Group, where he was most recently Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for distribution, marketing, and sales strategy across Ascot’s North American businesses.
Before Ascot, Stirk was Managing Director and US and Canada Growth Leader for Marsh’s financial and professional liability (FINPRO) practice.
Marsh explained that in his new role, Stirk will be responsible for leveraging the firm’s “deep industry knowledge and expertise” to deliver differentiated value to clients across the US.
Based in New York, he will report to Michelle Sartain, President Marsh US, who commented, “Andy’s strategic focus, deep industry knowledge, and client-centric approach make him the ideal candidate to lead Marsh’s client acquisition and retention strategies in the US.
