Antares adds Martin Campbell as Head of Financial Institutions

Antares, the Lloyd’s managing agent and member of the QIC Group, has appointed Martin Campbell as Head of Financial Institutions at Antares Syndicate 1274, effective immediately.

martin-campbellCampbell arrives from The Channel Syndicate, where he most recently served as Head of Financial Lines and was a founding partner in 2011.

He has 30 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s market and has previously worked as Head of Financial Institutions and Directors & Officers insurance at Newline.

Campbell first joined the Lloyd’s market in 1990 and has since specialised in Financial Lines products.

“Antares has an established Financial Institutions team, with a wealth of underwriting talent and an excellent track record,” said Joe Battle, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Antares.

“Martin is a recognised market leader in the space, with a deep understanding of client needs and the evolving financial products market,” he continued.

“Under Martin’s leadership, I am confident the business will build on its strengths and continue to flourish.”

Campbell also commented: “Antares has an established reputation within the Financial Lines space, with an excellent team and a diversified book of business. I look forward to working with Joe and the team to build out our offering.”
