Antares Global Management Limited has announced its leadership structure for the newly created Commercial Division, consisting of Syndicate 1274 and Bermuda-based Antares Re, through new appointments.
The division is headed by Mark Graham, CEO of the Antares Commercial Division. He will be supported by a leadership team of three Divisional Heads, Martin Campbell, James Glynn and Mark Graham.
Campbell has been appointed Head of the Casualty FinPro Division, and Chair of the Antares Underwriting Committee. He will also take on the role of Acting Head of the Reinsurance Division.
Additionally, Campbell will be appointed to the Antares Managing Agency Limited (AMAL) Board as AMAL CUO in the coming weeks, subject to Board and regulatory approvals.
Subject to Lloyd’s approval, the executive will be designated Active Underwriter for Syndicate 1274.
Campbell has been part of Antares since 2019, when he joined the company as Head of Financial Institution before becoming Head of Specialty in May 2020.
Prior to joining Antares, he worked at The Channel Syndicate and Newline Group.
Glynn, who has been with Antares since 2011, was appointed Head of the Marine Division. He joined the company as a Specie Underwriter following his tenure at Willis Towers Watson
From January 2017 onwards he served as the Class Underwriter for Antares Specie business.
James Thomas has been appointed Head of the Specialty Division, a new division comprising Political & Financial Risks, Terrorism, and Accident & Health.
He joined Antares in December 2015 as a Political and Financial Risks Underwriter and became Class Underwriter in January 2020. Prior to Antares, the executive worked at AIG.
