Sarah Freitag has joined insurance and reinsurance broker Aon from Gallagher Re, taking on the role of Executive Managing Director, Head of E&S Specialty P&C.
Based in New York, Freitag joins Aon after spending roughly 10 months with reinsurance broker Gallagher Re, initially as Executive Vice President, Specialty Property Segment Leader, and most recently as Executive Vice President E&S P&C Product Leader.
She joined Gallagher Re following the broker’s acquisition of much of Willis Re, where she worked for more than a decade, starting as a treaty analyst in 2011 in the Greater Philadelphia area.
During her time with Willis Re, Freitag also worked in the Greater Atlanta area as Assistant Vice President, Vice President, and Senior Vice President, before relocating to the Greater New York City area in 2019.
In March 2020, Freitag was appointed Specialty Property Segment Leader at Willis Re, later becoming Executive Vice President, Specialty Property Segment Leader.
