Aon has announced the appointment of James Fogarty as global head of marine for its Reinsurance Solutions business, as it launches advisory board.
In this new role, based in New York, Fogarty will be responsible for the re/insurer’s global network of marine reinsurance colleagues and clients. He will further integrate Aon’s broad suite of analytics capabilities into the marine reinsurance marketplace.
Fogarty joined Aon in 2004 and was most recently a managing director, responsible for U.S. specialty lines, including marine, energy, aviation, construction and property retrocession.
Additionally, in collaboration with Lee Meyrick, CEO of global marine and global industry specialty leader for transportation and logistics in Aon’s Commercial Risk Solutions, Fogarty will launch a new Marine Client Advisory Board.
