Luca Tassarotti has been appointed to the position of Head of Commercial Risk Solutions EMEA at Aon.
An industry veteran, Tassarotti began his career working as a Managing Director at the broking group Willis in the late 1990s.
He joined Aon in 2006 as a Managing Director in the broker’s Financial Services Group.
His reinsurance career began in 2012 when he took on the role of Deputy CEO of Facultative reinsurance for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
In 2020, After eight years as Deputy CEO of EMEA Facultative, Tassarotti was selected to take a more global view on reinsurance activity at Aon and was thus promoted to the role of Deputy CEO, Global Facultative.
With his latest appointment, Tassarotti has now tallied sixteen years working at the professional services firm, ten of which in reinsurance.
