Global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has entered into a new strategic alliance with insurtech firm Claim Central to digitize and streamline its claim management capabilities.
The collaboration aims to enhance the customer experience using technology and services developed specifically for property and casualty (P&C) insurance companies.
Claim Central will also open an Innovation Center to support the alliance by providing a live insurance environment to test new-to-market features and conduct special project for clients.
Based in Jacksonville, Florida, the Innovation Centre will run Claim Central’s single platform claims solution, and will include modernized workflows with desk examiners, field adjusters, and a connection to a credentialed contractor repair network to support loss mitigation and faster property repairs.
The insurtech has previous experience in digitizing the property claims process with modern features such as live video streaming, aerial imagery, real-time chat, customer sentiment measures, and digital payments.
