Apollo Group had announced the appointment of Stuart Davies as group non-executive Director.
His appointment is effective immediately.
With more than 30 years of experience within financial services, Davies has served in various senior insurance industry roles throughout his career, including Chairman of DARAG Group, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at global specialty reinsurer, Sompo Canopius, and ten years as CEO at Aegis London.
In addition, Davies also previously served as a non-executive Director at Oxbow Partners.
Moreover, alongside his new role at Apollo Group, Davies will also continue to be a partner at private equity firm – Keyhaven Capital.
Addressing his new role at Apollo Group, Davies, said: “It’s a great time to be joining Apollo as they look to build on their growing success. I am looking forward to working with the senior team and contributing to the group’s future growth.”

Meanwhile, Apollo recently appointed Susan Pateras to the Apollo Bermuda Limited board.
