Arch Insurance International, part of re/insurer Arch Capital Group Ltd, has appointed Andrew Bauckham as Head of Terrorism, Political Violence & War, effective immediately.
Within this new role, he will report to Lino Leoni, Chief Underwriting Officer for Short Tail Lines at Arch Insurance International.
Joining Arch Insurance International’s highly experienced underwriting team, Bauckham will be responsible for managing underwriting activities across a broad portfolio spanning NCBR terrorism, political violence, terrorism liability, SRCC & malicious damage, terrorism & sabotage and war & civil war.
He brings a wealth of experience within the terrorism arena towards the role. Most recently Bauckham served as Head of Political Violence and Crisis Management at specialty re/insurer Chaucer, having joined the company in 1998.
In addition, Bauckham has also served as the chair of the Lloyd’s Market Association’s Terrorism and Political Violence Panel.
