Arch Insurance International, which includes Arch’s insurance operations in Europe, Bermuda and Australia, has promoted Kirsten Valder to Chief Administrative Officer and Jason Kittinger to Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective June 30th, 2021.
The promotions of both Valder and Kittinger form part of the company’s long-term succession planning. Dennis Brand, current COO at Arch Insurance International, will be stepping down from the role but will remain with Arch in an advisory role.
Valder held the role of Chief Claims Officer since 2015 and prior to Arch was a Partner at Kennedys Law LLP. In her new role, Valder’s remit will span claims, legal, human resources, compliance and risk.
Kittinger, a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who joined Arch in 2006, will continue in his current role as CFO while taking on the additional responsibilities of COO.
In this role, Kittinger will oversee the areas of finance, operations, facilities and procurement.
