ArgoGlobal, a division of Argo Group, has announced the appointment of Veronica Grigg as senior executive officer for ArgoGlobal Asia, set to take up her role in the firm’s Singapore office in April, subject to regulatory approval.
Grigg is an industry veteran with over 25 years of industry experience in the Asia Pacific markets, she joins ArgoGlobal from QBE Asia-Pacific where she served as head of distribution of major trading partners.
She will report to Matt Harris, ArgoGlobal’s head of Europe, Middle East and Asia, who welcomed her to her new role: “Our Asia business will increasingly become a core driver of growth for Argo Group. To achieve our ambitions, we need to bring in proven leaders who have the skills and drive to set our services apart.
“Veronica is a clear example of this philosophy in practice. Her record of driving growth through strong leadership and innovation, her exemplary knowledge of the APAC markets and her vast network of contacts will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our offering.

In her previous role with QBE, Grigg established channel, account and partner strategies, and was instrumental in driving growth within the broker, affinity and SME segments.
Prior to this, Grigg served as QBE’s global head of distribution where she led teams across Europe, U.S., Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
