Bermuda-based reinsurer Ariel Re has added Daniel Carr to its London office as Head of Cyber, effective October 1.
Carr most recently served for Occam Underwriting as as Chief Innovation Officer and Cyber Lead.
Prior to that he worked as a Cyber Security Specialist with AEGIS in London.
Ariel Re says this addition aligns with its broader vision of being the premier manager of reinsurance risk.
Carr will hope to leverage his previous experience as a Principal Consultant for Cyber at BAE Systems and member of the UK Ministry of Defence as a Cyber Specialist.
