Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has announced the acquisition of The Coverage Pro, an Arizona-based retail insurance broker expert with expertise in construction for commercial and personal lines clients throughout the state.
As part of the transaction – terms were not disclosed – Gallagher will also acquire The Coverage Pro’s affiliated company General Southwest Insurance Agency, based in Phoenix.
According to the announcement, Jeff LaScala, Caily LaScala and their team will remain in their current location under the direction of Scott Firestone, head of Gallagher’s Southwest region retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
“The Coverage Pro has a culture similar to ours, and their market expertise will enhance our capabilities in the Southwest,” said J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., Chairman, President and CEO. “I am very pleased to welcome Jeff, Caily and their associates to Gallagher.”
In related news, just last month, Gallagher announced the acquisitions of Hartley Cylke Pacific Insurance, a retail insurance broker specialist in transportation.
As well as Ace Commercial Insurance Center, specialist insurance broker serving the trucking industry primarily in Southern California; and Eastern Insurance Group, LLC, a subsidiary of Eastern Bank.
