Arundo Re, the French reinsurance company, has named Raphaël Marin as Non-Life Underwriter and Actuary for the Latin America (LatAm) market.
With over thirteen years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, he has built a strong professional background working in both France and internationally.
His career includes positions at well-known organisations such as Predica, MAPFRE RE in Paris and Milan, and Optimind Winter.
Starting as an actuary, then moving into roles as an analyst and underwriter, Marin later transitioned to consulting as an independent actuary.
This progression allowed him to deepen his skills in pricing, treaty design, profitability evaluation, and risk analysis.
“Raphaël’s arrival demonstrates our determination to maintain the momentum we have built up in the Latin American market. He has a solid understanding of the technical issues and an ability to negotiate with local players,” added Hervé Nessi, Chief Underwriting Officer.
