Specialty insurer and reinsurer Ascot announced the launch of its new portal designed exclusively for Lloyd’s coverholders.
The portal will initially be introduced with a coverholder based in Australia, marking a significant step forward for Ascot in streamlining the distribution chain and enhancing its relationship with coverholders and customers through technology.
“By harnessing technology we can improve the way we work with our coverholders, whilst also delivering an improved experience to our customers,” Antonio Bellanca said, commenting on the launch.
Ascot is always looking for ways to innovate, whether it’s developing new insurance products or using technology to improve customer experience.
He added that the coverholder portal combines a technology-led approach to distribution with a multi-combined PI offering for start-ups, named Findemnity.
Findemnity is a unique insurance product that combines the best of Professional Indemnity, General Liability, and Personal Accident with limits and coverages tailored to start-up businesses in FinTech, RegTech, and InsurTech.
