Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of Robert Tartaglia to the newly created position of SVP, Chief Operations Officer, Insurance.
Based in Aspen’s offices in Jersey City, Tartaglia will start his new role from July 3rd. He will be responsible to lead the company’s transformation efforts across insurance operations, with a particular focus on driving process, data and systems excellence to support its commercial and business strategy.
Tartaglia has over two decades of complex global operations, IT, and transformation experience in insurance and reinsurance.
He has served as Global COO at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, Chief Broking COO at Aon, and various senior operations and technology roles at AIG.
Most recently, Tartaglia held the role of Operational Strategy and Growth Leader at AIG, where he led transformation initiatives around organizational design, operational effectiveness, and technology implementation for the company’s high net worth division.
