Bermuda-based life and annuity reinsurance company, Aspida Life Re has appointed Jenny Kane as Deputy Chief Operations Officer.
Kane has more than two decades of industry experience and over a decade in the Bermuda market. She will bring extensive expertise in operations and risk management to the broader Aspida Re team and its clients.
Before joining the Aspida team, she served as the Global Head of Operational Risk, Group Operating Officer Asset Management and Chief Administration Officer at Butterfield Bank from 2016 to 2022. Kane was also the Global Head of Projects and Initiatives, Head of Operations at Mitsubishi UFJ Fund Services from 2012 to 2016.
Kane will be based out of Aspida Re’s office in Hamilton, Bermuda, the reinsurance company said.
