European consultancy firm for the re/insurance industry, AURIGON Advisors, has announced the appointment of two new Partners in Italy and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Aurel Fratila, former insurance executive and actuary will cover France and CEE as Local Partner CEE, whereas Prof. Antonino Barletta will join our team as Local Partner Italy.
Fratila has executive experience in several Romanian insurance companies with particular experience in reserving, rating, underwriting, product development, sales and IT. In addition, he has vast auditing know-how on the MGA, Coverholder and Claims TPA side conducting projects in France and CEE, the firm noted.
Barletta is a well-respected lawyer and full professor of civil procedure law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Italy, admitted before the Italian Supreme Court since 2011.
He is an expert in insurance-related topics such as Third Party Liability, with a particular focus on bodily injury claims and medical malpractice and has published on Italian and international civil procedure law and arbitration.
According to AURIGON Advisors, Barletta’s combination of legal and analytical skills makes him a perfect advisor in the market, where he also operates as auditor on the claims and delegated authority side.
