Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC), the Australian Government’s terrorism reinsurance agency, has appointed Helen Williams to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Williams joins ARPC from strategy consulting firm Strategy& (part of the PwC network), where she has served as a strategy consultant since 2014.
Previously, Williams gained over 12 years of technology operations experience with Lucent Technologies, Alcatel and Nokia Siemens Networks, before which she served with the Australian Army.
“Helen Williams brings deep leadership, technology operations and stakeholder engagement experience to ARPC,” said Christopher Wallace, Chief Executive of ARPC.
“As a senior manager with Strategy&, she has also demonstrated her ability to add value across a range of industries and will bring a fresh perspective to ARPC,” he continued. “I wish Helen a warm welcome and look forward to working with her in her new role.”
Williams is due to take up her new role with ARPC on 14 October, 2019.
