AXA XL has appointed Felix Winzap to the roles of Global Head of Credit and Surety and Head of Reinsurance, Switzerland, according to a post on the firm’s official Linkedin page.
The post said that Winzap will be responsible for leading the Zurich credit and bond underwriting team.
His Global Head of position will see him with oversight for this line of business at AXA XL, it is assumed.
As head of reinsurance for Switzerland, will join the Switzerland leadership team as its reinsurance representative.
He will also, said the post, be based in Zurich.
The firm wrote: “Congratulations to Felix Winzap, our newly appointed Global Head of Credit & Surety and Head of Reinsurance – Switzerland.”
Winzap’s own LinkedIn profile indicates that he is moving to his new roles following four years as head of credit and Surety Re at the firm.
Prior to AXA XL, he spent another four years at XL Catlin, which followed a five-year stint at AXIS Capital and over twelve-and-a-half years at Swiss Re.
