AXA XL, the property and casualty (P&C) and specialty risk division of global insurer AXA, has announced the promotion of Ben Kinsella to Head of Risk Managed Underwriting, Retail, UK & Lloyd’s.
In his new role, Kinsella will leverage his 15 years of industry experience to lead AXA XL’s International Property, Casualty and Motor offerings across its Retail unit.
The executive has been part of AXA XL since 2019, when he joined the company as Property Underwriter. He was then appointed Senior Property Underwriter before becoming Underwriting Manager- Property.
Most recently, Kinsella served as Head of International Property, a role he held prior to his recent promotion.
Before AAXA XL, the executive was a Property Underwriter at AXA Corporate solutions. He also spent five years of his career at RSA, where he started his insurance career.
Kinsella joined RSA as Senior Business Support – Global Consulting following his tenure as Sub Editor at News International. He was then appointed Assistant Property Underwriter and the Property Underwriter.
