AXA XL has appointed Ravi Pachai to be its new chief risk officer for Bermuda and North America, Reinsurance.
Announced over LinkedIn, Pachai has been with the company for over seven-and-a-half years.
He joined the firm in January 2015 as its Bermuda catastrophe modelling manager before becoming an underwriting actuary, his incumbent position, in October 2017.
Prior to this, he held positions at Aon Benfield and the Bank of England.
AXA XL posted: “In his new role, Ravi will make sure the entities under AXA XL Re have an appropriate risk management framework in place. He will be responsible for meeting AXA Group Standards and Policies as well as relevant regulatory requirements and governance.”
