AXA XL hires Lait as Senior Underwriter, Marine Liability & Ports, UK & Lloyd’s

AXA XL has announced that it has appointed Adam Lait as Senior Underwriter, Marine Liability & Ports, UK & Lloyd’s.

Lait’s appointment is effective immediately.

In the role he will hold responsibility for developing and managing underwriting strategies for renewing and new business within AXA XL’s Marine Liability & Ports book business within the UK.

Lait will also report to Paul Rothery – Global Chief Underwriting Officer and Head of Marine Liability & Ports, UK & Lloyd’s.

Lait brings a deep level of expertise within the marine liability and ports market towards his new role. He has served as a broker in the London market for more than 20 years.

He began his career in the industry at Heath Lambert in 2001, with broking positions at Alston Gayler, Lockton and most recently Marsh where he held the role of Senior Vice President.

Addressing Lait’s appointment, Rothery said: “I’m delighted to welcome Adam to the team.
