AXA XL hires Leemans as Head of Cyber, UK & Lloyd’s

AXA XL has appointed Vanessa Leemans as Head of Cyber, UK & Lloyd’s, effective immediately.

axa-logoWithin this new role, Leemans will be responsible for leading AXA XL’s cyber business in the UK, as well as driving its strategic and profitable development.

Overall, Leemans brings 20 years of industry experience towards the role. She started her career at Aon in Belgium, which was then shortly followed by 16 years in the London market, where she progressed through various roles.

Since 2016, she has held cyber leadership positions in Aon Cyber Solutions as Global Chief Operating Officer, Chief Commercial Officer EMEA/UK, and Chief Broking Officer EMEA/UK.

Meanwhile, earlier this month AXA XL announced several regional leader promotions for its Directors & Officers underwriting teams. 

In addition, AXA XL recently added Cyber Suite, a cyber and security insurance coverage as an option to its Lawyers’ Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance program.
