AXA XL has appointed Patrick Lee as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Canada, taking over the role from Ryan Ho.
Based in Toronto, Lee will join Canada’s executive leadership team effective February 1, 2023. Prior to his new role, he served for two years as Senior Finance Manager.
He started his tenure with AXA XL in 2018, when he joined Canada’s finance management team as Finance Manager.
Before joining the company, Lee served at PwC Bermuda for almost six years. During this time, he held several assurance roles, including Experience Associate, Senior Associate, and Assurance Manager.
Commenting on the appointment, Country Manager Renato Rodrigues said: “It is great to see one of our own team members step into this position. Patrick is a great new addition to our leadership team here in Canada and will bring tried-and-true management to our finance team.”
Lee joins a number of appointments AXA XL has made around the world. These include Diego Cerquenich’s, who has been recently appointed Senior Risk Consultant, Marine, UK & Lloyd’s, and Dan Bryan as Head of Asia for AXA XL Reinsurance.
