AXA XL promotes Shellé Hendrickson to Head of Healthcare, Bermuda

AXA XL has announced that Shellé Hendrickson is to succeed Vivenne Moniz as Head of Healthcare in its Bermuda Insurance business.

XL Group AXA acquisitionIn her new role, Hendrickson will be responsible for developing, implementing and driving the strategies of the Healthcare underwriting unit.

She will report to Moniz, who was promoted to Head of Excess Casualty for Bermuda back in September.

Hendrickson joined XL Insurance (Bermuda) Ltd, now XL Bermuda Ltd, in 2013 as Assistant Vice President and has since taken on progressively senior roles, most recently as Vice President, Excess Casualty Underwriter.

Earlier this year she was selected to participate in the company’s Global Emerging Leaders Program and Future Focus Group.

“This promotion underscores the breadth and depth of talent we have at AXA XL,” said Patrick Tannock, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Insurance of XL Bermuda.

“The Bermuda market and our industry in general works to provide solutions to the most complex existing risks while striving to stay ahead of emerging and future risks,” he continued. “Attracting, developing and promoting the best local talent are critical to our efforts.”
