Global re/insurer AXA XL has promoted Michelle Jensen and Pietro Tarone to the roles of senior underwriter and underwriter, within its mergers and acquisitions insurance team, respectively.
The promotions of Jensen and Tarone, both of whom will be based in New York, reflect AXA XL’s continued focus on M&A insurance solutions.
Jensen has been with AXA XL since 2018, when she joined as an underwriter within its M&A insurance team.
Previously, she served as an associate in Ice Miller LLP’s Business Group, concentrating in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and general corporate matters.
Tarone joined AXA XL as in intern in 2017 before joining full time as an associate underwriter. Both Jensen and Tarone will report to Joseph Laws and Michael McGowan, who co-lead M&A Insurance in North America.
