AXIS Capital Holdings Limited (AXIS) has recently launched AXIS Cyber Incident Commander, a new service designed to assist policyholders facing cyber incidents by providing them with a single point of contact for immediate guidance from experienced cyber experts.

The services offered include legal counsel, digital forensics, incident response, and crisis and reputational management. These services are provided by AXIS-approved third-party vendors who closely collaborate with the AXIS Cyber Risk Advisory and Cyber Claims team to support customers in their recovery after an incident.

Incident Commander offers complimentary and prompt triage and support services accessible via email or phone, 24/7. This assistance begins the moment an incident occurs until the case transitions seamlessly to the Cyber Claims team for ongoing claims management.

David Shluger, Head of Cyber Risk Advisory at AXIS, emphasised, “By providing streamlined, rapid access to the services customers need in a cyber incident, AXIS Cyber Incident Commander aims to help get businesses back up and running more quickly, minimise the impact of the incident, and reduce the stress in what can be a complex and unnerving process.”

Lori Bailey, Head of Global Cyber & Technology at AXIS, added, “Elevating understanding of cyber threats and how to strengthen defences against them is at the heart of what we do within AXIS Cyber Risk Advisory. The launch of Incident Commander, and the appointment of Nick to our team, enables us to expand the risk advisory solutions we provide to help businesses prepare, protect, and respond to cyber risks amid an evolving cyber risk landscape.”
