The Board of Directors of the Amynta Group has elected Robert Giammarco as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Joining from the Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), Giammarco brings extensive insurance sector expertise to the role.
Giammarco succeeds Stuart Hollander, who is set to become an advisor to the Amynta Board of Directors. Giammarco’s insurance industry expertise includes knowledge and experience in M&A, longstanding industry relationships, as well as a solid history of both developing and leading high-performing teams.
Commenting on the departure of Hollander, Vahe Dombalagian, a Managing Director at Madison Dearborn Partners and a member of the Amynta Board of Directors, said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Stuart for his strong leadership during this critical period of establishing Amynta as an independent company with the resources and strategy to grow each of its market leading business units. Giammarco joins after 20 years with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he led the Financial Institutions Group for the Americas since 2014.
