Barbican Insurance Group has appointed Lauren Webb as a Class Underwriter for cyber within its team at Lloyd’s Syndicate 1955.
Webb has 14 years’ underwriting experience, 7 of which have been in the cyber insurance sector, and joins Barbican from Chubb, where she most recently served as London Cyber Underwriting Manager.
She joined Chubb in 2011 as a Senior Professional Indemnity (PI) and Cyber Underwriter, before which she spent 7 years at RSA as a PI Underwriter.

Such speed of evolution demands the guidance of experienced underwriters, which is why we are delighted that Lauren is joining us. She has a very strong understanding of cyber risk and will play a key role in developing new solutions and helping drive our growth.”
