Specialist insurer Beazley has announced the appointment of Sam Franks as Regional Business Development Manager.
Franks is set to arrive at the firm on September 1 2018 and will be expected to lead Beazley’s U.K. business development initiative from its Birmingham office. He joins from Hiscox Birmingham, having served as Regional Manager for over 5 years.
With an abundance of experience in building a U.K. regional strategy, Franks will be key to the development of Beazley’s strategy and broker relationships in the U.K. regions.
Beazley recently moved to larger premises in Birmingham, in anticipation of an increasing number of underwriters being based there in support of its U.K. regional ambitions.
The office will also become a hub for claims handling, multinational credit control, project management and IT operations.
