Specialist insurer Beazley has revealed a new leadership structure within its global cyber & tech underwriting team, designed to support greater knowledge sharing and collaboration between the team globally.
As Beazley announced previously, from the 1st of July 2020, Paul Bantick will take on global responsibility for cyber & tech.
In addition, the new underwriting team includes Bob Wice, currently head of US cyber & tech, who will now lead global underwriting management for the team. In this role, Wice will work with the cyber and tech underwriting team to drive efficient growth.
Kristen Dauphinais is set to be promoted from head of US middle market cyber & tech to head of US cyber & tech. In this role, her responsibilities will include all middle market and large risk underwriting in the US.
Beazley has also announced that a newly-created London wholesale team is set to be led by Alec Cramsie, who currently serves as head of London market cyber & tech. In his new role, Cramsie will be responsible for all US and international business placed in London.
The team will also continue to have Alessandro Lezzi as head of international cyber & tech. In this role, his underwriting responsibility spans Canada, the UK regions, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He is responsible for the firm’s international cyber & tech strategy and distribution and will also chair the London wholesale and international management team.
