A recent Lloyd’s ballot has elected Dirk Froese, Head of Aviation at Beazley, to the Lloyd’s Market Association’s (LMA) Aviation Committee for a term of four years.
Froese will join re-elected committee members Peter Wakefield, Head of Aviation at Chaucer, and Christopher Collins, Head of Aviation at Talbot, in providing a forum for aviation and aerospace underwriters, and in acting as the representative voice of the Lloyd’s aviation market for stakeholders.
Paul Maguire, Head of Aviation at Faraday, will remain Chairman of the Committee and oversee its current priorities, which include narrowing the market’s cyber risk knowledge gaps and developing better integration of new technologies like drones and unmanned vehicles.
James Straker-Nesbit, Senior Executive, LMA, said: “I am pleased to welcome Dirk Froese to the committee. He joins a number of highly knowledgeable and experienced senior market practitioners, whose combined expertise continues to be an invaluable asset.”
