Specialist insurer Beazley has announced the appointment of Beth Diamond as Group Chief Claims and Litigation Officer.
In her expanded role she manages an industry-leading team servicing claims from a diverse variety of specialty insurance lines.
Additionally, she leads in the development of an oversight model for all litigation matters and processes, including the strategic management of litigation outcomes and risks.
“Beth’s strategic thinking and customer-focused expertise will undoubtedly continue to shape excellence in managing litigation outcomes and risks,” a Beazley spokesperson commented.
Diamond joined Beazley in 2006 and has most recently served as Group Head of Claims. She took over this role in 2020 when Anthony Hobkinson retired.
Prior to that, she served as Head of Complex Claims for almost five years. Before that Diamond was a Claims Team Leader, Cyber + Technology, a role she held for close to ten years since joining the company.
“Beth has tailored Beazley’s claims operating model to ensure client-centricity, transformed the claims service experience, digitised business operations, deployed market-leading capabilities, and modernised the claims business model globall,” Beazley added.
Diamond also practised law for 11 years prior to joining Beazley, including as a complex commercial litigator at an international law firm.
