Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has announced two promotions within its Executive & Professional Lines Claims group.
Shelby Rootenberg has been named Senior Vice President, Head of U.S. Commercial Lines (Public) and Financial Institutions Claims.
Rootenberg came to BHSI in 2014 as Assistant Vice President and Head of Financial Lines Claims. Prior to that, she spent over a decade in claims technical and management roles.
In addition, Megan Scully becomes Senior Vice President, Head of U.S. Commercial Lines (Private), Professional and Transactional Liability Claims.
“With their newly expanded responsibilities, Shelby and Megan will be at the forefront in delivering the full value of our CLAIMS IS OUR PRODUCT philosophy to our Executive & Professional Lines customers,” said David Crowe, Chief Claims Officer, BHSI.
“They are excellent leaders and collaborators, and their exceptional technical acumen and experience will be of great benefit to our customers facing a claim.”
