Independent specialist re/insurance broker, BMS Group, has appointed Andras Bohm as the head of its US Capital Advisory business and the CEO of BMS Capital Advisory, Inc. – BMS Groups’ U.S. broker-dealer – subject to regulatory approvals.
In his new role, Bohm will hold responsibility for leading BMS Group’s investment banking and legacy solutions team in New York, working with both his UK and Bermuda counterparts.
BMS Group has also confirmed that Bohm will report to BMS Re CEO, Pete Chandler.
Bohm joins the company from Swiss Re Capital Markets, where he previously led the team’s structuring activities in the Americas.
Throughout the last 10 years, Bohm has supported clients in executing more than 70 transactions, with a total amount of over US $15 billion.
Those transactions have ranged across advisory, capital raising and structuring insurance linked securities (ILS), which have received several industry awards across the reinsurance industry.
