Willis, a WTW business, has announced the appointment of Andy Chang as Growth Leader within its global Direct & Facultative business.
Based in Miami, Chang will report to Garret Gaughan, Global Head of Direct & Facultative at Willis.
He will work across Willis’ global network to support the continued growth of its Direct & Facultative business, collaborating with regional leaders and teams across North America, Europe, London, Asia Pacific and other international markets.
In his new role, Chang will lead business development and provide strategic guidance to clients and prospects across Willis’ global network. He will help clients develop informed go-to-market strategies and achieve an effective balance between risk transfer, risk retention and risk mitigation, while strengthening relationships with insurance markets and supporting innovation across the business.
He brings extensive global insurance and reinsurance market experience spanning retail, wholesale and reinsurance, complex international placement strategies and the development of cross-border solutions.
Chang joins Willis from Aon, where he served as Head of Alternative Distribution. He built and led Aon’s global Alternative Distribution reinsurance proposition, developing solutions for MGAs, delegated authority businesses and strategic third-party clients.
Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer at K.M. DASTUR & CO LIMITED.
