Independent specialist re/insurance broker BMS Iberia has appointed Jorge Melero as Director of Affinity and Wholesale Partnerships for Spain & Portugal, effective immediately.
Based in Madrid, Melero will join BMS Iberia’s executive committee and will report to Fernando Claro, CEO of BMS Iberia.
Prior to joining BMS, Melero was Commercial Director (Affinity) at Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Iberia, focusing on consumer affinity schemes via insurance and reinsurance channels.
At WTW Iberia, he provided broking and consulting services to some of the largest corporations in the Spanish market.
Before that, he worked at Aon Affinity from 2007 to 2013, where he also specialised in the design, placement and distribution of insurance programmes for affinity partners.
