BMS Group, the independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has named Norman Wiltshire and Nick Titcomb as Directors of its specialty re/insurance unit, BMS Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS).
Following his retirement from brokerage Aon, Wiltshire will join the company to work closely with Hannah Watkins, Managing Director of BMS SRS, in the expansion of BMS’ London Market Reinsurance offering.
Wiltshire started his career at a Lloyd’s of London syndicate, spending time at both CE Heath and CT Bowring, and played an important role in the development of the Benfield Non Marine London Market team. Including his time with re/insurance broker Aon, he brings 50 years of experience to BMS.
Titcomb is set to join BMS after serving as a Senior Vice President (SVP) at Marsh since 2017, where he focused on the US and London reinsurance markets, and also fixed price P&I facilities. He is set to take on a dual role at BMS, with responsibilities for developing both US and London market marine reinsurance. In addition, Titcomb will work closely with the US-based production team.
Wiltshire and Titcomb will join BMS upon the completion of current contractual obligations in July and October, respectively. The pair will report to Watkins, who said: “We continue to hire like-minded individuals that share our belief that personalised service and advice is key for our client base. This forms part of our specialty reinsurance and retro strategies alongside our continued overall investment in the US and London.
