Specialty re/insurance group Chaucer has announced that Brad French will step down from his role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SLE Holdings, known in the market as SLE Worldwide Australia.
French will leave the business at the end of this year, after 25 years of service.
Chaucer assured that a replacement CEO will be announced in due course, with Simon Rice, Chairman of SLE Holdings, providing additional support during the transition.
Based in Sydney, SLE is an underwriting agency and Lloyd’s coverholder that was acquired by Chaucer in 2017.
The firm writes a broad range of specialty property and casualty products, with a focus on the sports, leisure and entertainment markets.
“Brad’s contribution to SLE in his 25 years with the firm cannot be overstated,” said John Fowle, CEO of Chaucer Group.
“Under Brad’s leadership SLE has become a recognized leader for product innovation, broker-friendly technology and customer service. We thank him for his service and wish him well for the future.”
