Bridgehaven Insurance has appointed Paul Dilley as Chief Underwriting Officer, subject to regulatory approval.
Dilley joins Bridgehaven from Intact Insurance Group, where he was responsible for Intact International Specialty (UK and Europe).
Before this, he held the position of CUO for RSA’s UK and International Businesses. He has also served as CEO of Ardonagh Group’s Geo Underwriting, and before that, as CUO at Canopius UK.
Collectively, Dilley has more than three decades of experience in the insurance industry in the Lloyd’s and International Insurance Markets.
In his new role, he will be responsible for managing Bridgehaven’s portfolio of multi-class business.
The firm added that he will be working closely with specialty MGA partners and reinsurers, tasked with delivering underwriting profitability through its hybrid fronting model.
