Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU), a division of global specialty re/insurer Brit Ltd, has appointed Jeff Norton as Senior Vice President, Cyber & Technology, effective October 1, 2018.
Norton joins BGSU from Beazley Group, where he most recently served as a Senior Underwriter, Private Enterprise, with responsibility for leading the U.S Private Enterprise Cyber offering and driving profitable growth.
Previously, he led the Professional Liability team at Marquis Agency and helped to expand the firm’s capabilities as an insurance broker and risk management provider over a 10-year tenure.
In his new role, Norton will be responsible for leading and growing BGSU’s Cyber & Technology team from its office in Chicago, reporting to Tom Bongi, Executive Vice President, Professional Liability.
