Global specialty re/insurer Brit Ltd has announced the appointments of James Patterson as Vice President, Cyber & Technology and Ryan Mimmo as Vice President, Cyber & Technology for Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU).
In these roles, Jim and Ryan will be responsible for underwriting and supporting the continued growth of BGSU’s Cyber & Technology offering.
Patterson joins Brit from AIG, where he worked as a Cyber Specialist and took an active role in educating clients and insurance brokers on cyber exposures and loss prevention methods.
Prior to this, he served as a Senior Underwriter at AIG, specialising in cyber and technology coverage.
Mimmo, meanwhile, arrives at BGSU from NAS Insurance, where he most recently served as Assistant Vice President, Technology E&O and Cyber Liability.
He previously held claims and underwriting roles across cyber, technology and professional liability at Zurich North America, Marsh & McLennan Companies and ACE.
Patterson and Mimmo will be based in San Francisco and New York, respectively, and will both report to Jeff Norton, Senior Vice President, Cyber and Technology.
