Canadian Premier Life Insurance Company has wrapped up its acquisition of Gerber Life Insurance’s Canadian business.
With the deal now finalised, Gerber Life’s Canadian policies are now fully assumed by Canadian Premier.
As explained previously, the block of Canadian life insurance business is marketed under the Gerber Life brand and includes individual life insurance policies, primarily the Grow Up plan, which are whole life policies geared towards children 12 years and under.
Suzette Huovinen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Canadian Premier, commented: “We’re excited about the completion of the Gerber Life acquisition and increasing our Canadian life insurance footprint.
