Casper Specialty UK Limited (Casper), a specialist casualty-focused managing general agent (MGA), has announced the appointment of Jacob Blomfield as Head of Operations.
In his new role, Blomfield will be responsible for enhancing Casper’s operational infrastructure, with a focus on improving how the company captures, stores, and uses data.
Simon Sykes, Chief Operating Officer at Casper, expresses his enthusiasm for Blomfield’s appointment, stating, “Jacob’s appointment represents another milestone as we continue to build out Casper as a leading casualty MGA.

Blomfield joins Casper from Argenta Syndicate Management Limited, where he worked for over seven years, most recently as Head of Delegated Underwriting Management, overseeing all aspects of Syndicate 2121’s Delegated Authority book.
Before that, he held positions at Chesterfield Insurance Brokers, Antares Underwriting Services Limited, and Xchanging.
