Specialist insurer CFC has recently announced the appointment of Avraam Avraam to its Medical Malpractice underwriting team.
He will serve as team leader and work alongside practice leader Sharon Brennan in order to help develop the firm’s book of non-US international business.
Avraam brings over 30 years’ experience in underwriting and broking, having focused on the healthcare sector since 1996.
He most recently served as a Healthcare Class Underwriter at MS Amlin and previously within the Specialist Liability team as Underwriter at QBE.
“As one of the most experienced medmal underwriters in the London Market, Avraam brings a wealth of knowledge to our team,” said Brennan.
“The healthcare sector is constantly evolving and the risks that practitioners and organizations face are too. We’re excited to welcome Avraam to the team as we look to support these organizations not just in the UK but around the world.”
