Specialist insurer and reinsurer, Chaucer, has announced the expansion of its political violence team with the appointment of Craig Curtiss as Class Underwriter, and Callum Bennett as Deputy Class Underwriter.
Both Curtiss and Bennett join the firm in order to support the growth of its leading Political Violence team, which offers a range of war, terrorism and political violence solutions for UK and international clients.
Curtiss, a highly regarded underwriter with more than 10 years of political violence experience, joins Chaucer from IGI Insurance, where he served as Head of Political Violence. Prior to IGI Insurance, Curtiss worked for Inter Hannover UK.
Bennett joins Chaucer after spending seven years working with the AXIS Crisis Management team, where underwrote product recall, piracy, and kidnap and ransom business.
