Christopher Evans to build out Howden CAP capability in APAC

International insurance broker, Howden has announced the appointment of Christopher Evans as Executive Director, Howden CAP.

howden-group-logoBased in Brisbane, Evans joins the new division as it builds out its geographical footprint, bringing expertise and new capabilities for the benefit of clients in Asia Pacific.

According to the announcement, with this appointment, Howden is now able to provide seamless client coverage across the APAC and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) regions.

In his new role, Evans will focus on advising, designing and executing structured credit risk insurance solutions for Howden’s financial institutions and corporate clients.

He has over two decades of experience in global banking and structured finance. Prior to joining Howden, he served at National Australia Bank Limited.

During this time, he was responsible for procuring Credit Risk Insurance within the Corporate & Institutional division, supporting frontline bankers to manage capital and credit exposure in a variety of high-profile transactions.
